Parkinson’s Exercise Class

Empower movement, improve balance, and enhance quality of life in a supportive, evidence-based exercise program designed specifically for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease. Held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2 PM—free to YMCA members, with an additional cost for non-members.

Fighting Back Through Movement

Exercise is an essential component in managing Parkinson’s symptoms. Our targeted classes focus on intentional, large-amplitude movements, posture, agility, and cognitive challenge to help participants maintain independence and confidence in daily life.

Balance & Agility

Targeted drills to prevent falls, improve gait stability, and build core functional strength.

Motor Skill Focus

High-effort physical movements designed to stimulate neuroplasticity and mobility.

Supportive Community

Train alongside peers and caregivers in an encouraging, uplifting, non-judgmental space.

Designed for individuals diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease at any stage. Modifications are provided for seated or standing movements. Care partners are encouraged to join!
